Bamboo whisk

The bamboo whisk (chasen) is essential for preparing matcha, as it dissolves the matcha powder completely and without lumps in the water. Whisking the matcha powder with the bamboo whisk also creates a fine foam that cannot be achieved with other frothing tools.

Tips:

Before preparation: Soak the bristles of the bamboo whisk in warm water for about 5 minutes so that the bristles soften slightly and do not break.

After use: Wash the bamboo whisk with water and let it air dry. The bamboo whisk is a natural product and therefore not suitable for dishwashers.
